Not just mysteries, but books that will get you thinking about mental health and the magic in our lives.
As a clinical psychologist, I’ve had many opportunities to sit with people who were finding their way out of emotional pain and building a happier life.
I have a B.S. in Applied Psychology from Georgia Tech and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University. I worked with people struggling with serious mental illness in state hospitals and people who were anxious, depressed, or going through a life transition in my private practices in Georgia and Virginia. After about forty years I retired. That left me time to devote to writing and my country life in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. And see the magic that can make our lives worthwhile.
I live on a hill with three dogs to four dogs., and my beloved. We are surrounded by pastures, trees, and beautiful views of the Blue Ridge mountains. I love writing, making art, watching birds, and flower gardening. My favorite things are snow, animals, coffee, marzipan, and British TV mysteries.
